If you are without a car, Solstice Blackheath is only 450 metres (6 min walk) from the Blackheath train station. Trains come and go for all villages in the Blue Mountains, as well as to Sydney. We recommend the “Blue Mountains Explorer Bus”, stopping at all villages, lookouts and major tourist attractions in the Blue Mountains area. Get your bus ticket at Katoomba train station
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a chef and would like to take advantage of our beautiful kitchen or undercover BBQ space, there are two local supermarkets in Blackheath as well as a green grocer, free-range butcher (tell Bruce we sent you), several bakeries, a bottle shop and deli. You’re welcome to use our shopping trolley to gather for your feast

Blackheath has the enviable position of being at the highest point of the Blue Mountains. With that comes mystical fogs, crisp mornings, low humidity Summers and ‘sometimes’ snow in Winter
The Three Sisters and Scenic World, Katoomba, is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Blackheath. The gorgeous Wentworth Falls and popular shopping village of Leura, are also only 15 minutes’ drive away
The eclectic and charming village of Mount Victoria is a short 10 minute drive, where you can enjoy the delights of the historic cinema, Mount Vic Flicks. Great for a rainy day activity or a night out with your bestie

"Close to Blackheath shops and cafes"
The house is beautiful and suits large groups as there are plenty of break out areas and large back garden. We enjoyed using the BBQ and sitting in the undercover space. Great spot and close to Blackheath shops and cafes - walking distance

"The hot tub is large and easy to use"
The property appears to have been recently refurbished and has been to a very high standard. Beautiful decor and furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped and had the added bonus of a Breville barista coffee machine. The property is very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bed warmers were appreciated on the cold evenings. The hot tub is large and easy to use. Overall a fantastic property.

"Absolutely blown away"
This has to be the most stunning Airbnb I have EVER stayed in. Everything was exceptional from the cleanliness, the location, the luxury provided, and the communication from Bronwyn.
Perfect for a weekend escape in the mountains.
The decor was impeccable, and no details spared from the bottle of wine on arrival, the amazing smelling candles and bath salts. I could not recommend this Airbnb more and I already can’t wait to book again.
Absolutely blown away.

"The house is beautiful"
We had a family reunion weekend at Bronwyn's place...3 generations. It was fabulous. The house is beautiful. It's been furnished to a very high standard but is relaxed and very comfortable.
Bronwyn has thought of everything...a very well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of space to be all together or escape to a peaceful spare lounge area.
A wonderful garden for kids to explore and an easy walk to the Blackheath village and the much-loved Rocketship park.
Thanks for everything...we'll be back.

Stunning house, great location… walk to the cafes and restaurants.
Kitchen was very well equipped with beautiful induction cooktop and oven. Bedrooms have beautiful linen sheets and comfortable beds.
Quiet location, we had 4 couples staying and plenty of room for everyone.
